This system can be set up in different ways but here is 1 example of the 3-2-1 Backup Strategy in place:

All of your digital data lives on your computer (1) and is backed up to a local external hard drive using Apple Time Machine* (2) which is also backed up to iCloud* off-site (3).

*we mention Apple products since that is what most of our clients use but, there are many options here whether you are using Apple products or PCs.
